Stereotype is the materialization of a contemplation process on the impact of clothing. The clothes that one wears often are a means of expressing the self, even defining the self. Clothes have the intensity of the personal and the power of the general. Clothes are a metaphor for being human. They are an intimate expression of personality, an external representation of an inner intentionality. How intentional is that expression ? Why do I wear certain clothes or labels ? Am i following a fashion trend to belong to a certain group ? Or distinguish myself from a certain group ? Am I trying to make a statement ? Can I define myself through the clothes that I wear ? Am I a stereotype ? Am I ?
